In 2023 I get my Tesla model 3, since beginning it was a change of mind because I used to drive a standard drive car. the first shock was the clean dashboard just one single but large screen in the middle of the board. and constantly turn your eyes or head to see how fast you are going,
the next was the brake sensations, when you realize don't press the breaks for long time, the acceleration speed was a sensation in the chest,
and after 3 year of using, you could see the saving in you gas ticket but it come with a sensation that you have with your cellphone, looking the battery one on a while, and planning long travels to plan how will be your route, where you must stop and if at the of the day how much battery you will have for the next day.
But as you have saving in your gas ticket, and your services you will have spent money in the tires.
in the last year with the addition of AI, it's very useful for every requirement or doubt in the road, even the travel to school could be fun or educational with the kids asking to grok any questions.
AI correction and how I should improve my English skills
In 2023, I bought a Tesla Model 3. From the beginning, driving it required a change in mindset because I had always driven gasoline powered cars.
The first surprise was the interior. Instead of a traditional dashboard with gauges and buttons, the Model 3 has a clean design with one large touchscreen in the center. At first, it felt unusual to look toward the screen to check my speed and other driving information. Over time, however, I became more comfortable with the layout.
The next big difference was the braking experience. With regenerative braking, the vehicle slows down when you release the accelerator pedal. At first, it was surprising to realize that I could drive for a long time without pressing the brake pedal as often as I did in a conventional car. The system also sends some energy back to the battery while the car slows down.
Acceleration was another memorable experience. The immediate response of the electric motor creates a strong sensation in the chest, especially when the car accelerates quickly. It is one of the features that makes an electric vehicle feel very different from a gasoline powered vehicle.
After three years of ownership, I can see the savings in fuel and routine maintenance. I no longer need to visit gas stations, and regenerative braking can reduce wear on the brake pads. Tesla notes that brake pad replacement is often less frequent in its vehicles because regenerative braking returns energy to the battery.
However, owning an electric vehicle also creates a different type of planning. It can feel similar to checking the battery level on a cellphone. For everyday driving, I regularly monitor the battery charge. For longer trips, I plan the route, identify charging stops, and consider how much battery power I will have left at the end of the day for the following morning.
The savings in fuel and some maintenance costs can be significant, but there is another expense to consider: tires. Electric vehicles are generally heavier than comparable gasoline vehicles, and their instant torque can place more stress on the tires. Tesla recommends rotating Model 3 tires every 6,250 miles, or sooner if the difference in tread depth reaches 2/32 of an inch. This has been one of the main maintenance costs I have noticed during my first three years of ownership.
Another feature that could make a car different in the future is the integration of artificial intelligence. A vehicle equipped with a reliable conversational assistant could make everyday trips more useful and enjoyable, especially for families. Even a short drive to school could become an opportunity for learning and conversation.
For example, children could ask questions about science, history, animals, language, current events, or a topic they are studying in school. Parents could use the drive to discuss a news story, practice vocabulary in English or Spanish, review a school subject, or answer a child’s question in a simple and engaging way.
The value of this technology would not be limited to entertainment. It could help transform time spent in the car into family learning time. Of course, the system would need to provide accurate information, respect privacy, and avoid distracting the driver. The conversation should support the trip, not take attention away from safe driving.
Overall, my Tesla Model 3 has changed the way I think about driving. It has made daily transportation quieter, more technologically focused, and more dependent on planning. In the future, combining electric vehicles with useful and responsible conversational technology could make the car more than transportation. It could become a space for family conversation, learning, and shared curiosity.
Of course, I read and approve what Ai gives me.
